What is Child Sponsorship?

The 6:8 Kids sponsorship program partners with communities across Costa Rica to support children from economically disadvantaged families. While Costa Rica offers free public education, every student is required to have specific uniforms, supplies, and materials that many families simply cannot afford.

Your monthly sponsorship of $24 provides each child with everything they need to succeed in school, from uniforms to backpacks to books.

What Your $24/Month Covers

Two school uniforms including shirts, pants/skirts, socks, and shoes for the school year
Backpack and supplies including notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and all required materials
Books and materials including textbooks, workbooks, and any additional materials required by the school
Hope and stability beyond material needs, sponsorship provides emotional support and the knowledge that someone cares
